Karla...that layout looks really good! I love those raggedy quilts you make!

Karla, that is really pretty!

As to a wedding quilt...yes, it's a bit early to start, but not too early to plan it. I'm sure you'll find the perfect pattern and fabric!

Love that quilt and the arrangement -- it's gonna be gorgeous!

Never too early to ask about what kind of quilt they (she) would like for a wedding present -- that way you have a lot of time to get it done :D

so happy for you. I too am in the process of getting my first daughter in law. and sadly she too didn't have a good growing up. An only child to drug users and grandma raised her. Its funny to watch her here with my brood. My son's name is Jusitn also. When they come out for a visit, she can't get over what its like to see justin with his 10 siblings. being an only child I thought we might scare her off...haha

That's great news. I was raised by my gr. mother also, and though my mother was alive, I've only seen her a half a dozen times in my whole life, ( not sure if she is alive or has passed on at this point). Anyway, my mother in law raised 7 children and when I married into the family, I finally had a mother. She treats me just like one of her own girls. She is the only woman I have ever called Mom. She's a wonderful woman. I'm a mother in law myself now and I try hard to be as good as my dear MIL. But, I can't hold a candle to her.
