Default I'm a Hamilton Fan?

I keep hearing people say that they are a "Hamilton Fan."

I'm clueless... What are they talking about?

So would this song be done by a group spoofing the style of the play Hamilton?

https://thequiltshow.com/daily-blog/...25b98d65059b82

Are there other "things" trying to ride the coat tails of this successful play?

I have a Facebook friend who has obtained tickets to the play when it is in San Francisco. She is considering having a raffle or auction among her Facebook friends for two tickets to the play. She plans on giving half of the proceeds to the purchaser's charity and half to her charity. I'm baffled at the responses from some who would be willing to fly from another state for these tickets.

SO funny! When I saw this title I immediately thought about the Hamilton Tiger Cats here in Canada as that was our friend's favourite team.... I live in a small world!

Haven't heard that, but I'm not on any of the "social media" sites.....but if it's regarding the play Hamilton...not me! I was watching our local PBS station fundraiser .....and it was hawking tickets for the Chicago version along with an auction package for the NY version including airfare to, two nites at posh hotel, meals, yada, yada. But between all that it was showing snippets from play.....I, personally would not want to see it....it is a musical done in rap-style singing, wild company dancing, and very modern little scenery background. In one of the celebrity interviews the writer, producer of this was compared to Shakespeare, in that he took a story line, in this case the book Hamilton by chernow, and wrote the play in the vernacular of the time, Shakespeare/iambic pentameter poetry, and Hamilton/rap! Not in my book, but to each his own....and I understand tickets are sold out til sept....oh, and the auction package went for
$6,200.....so I guess I'm in the minority here.....

I have heard 2 versions of the Hamilton fan. One had to do with controversial play "Hamilton" and the other had to do with the fun version of MSQC in Hamilton, Mo. I'd rather refer to the latter.

It's the Beany Baby hysteria all over again but this time it's tickets to see a play. It's a status thing for those that can't afford it, to show they can. Besides it can't be better then Wicked! But the true meaning of being a Hamilton Fan is being on the side of the Hamilton Electors who are working on a plan to use the Electoral College system to keep the president elect from the White House.
