After a great week in Vietnam, I'm home!
Had a wonderful time, but there's no place like home!
Now the REAL fun starts....getting my clothes packed up so we can get the packers/movers in here on Wed.
I'll post pictures later. Got to nap today, which was nice. Have to go thru pictures and then will post for everyone.

You are much smarter than I was when we moved from Hawaii back to the main land. I had 3 different movers come and for some reason I did not think of packing in reverse. (What we had to carry on the plane first, then all the other packing dates) So after the final movers left, I had a whole pile of things that I kept saving to pack in our suitcases. I have no idea what I did, some bad memories we just have to forget about, right? That was very stressful trying to pack things that would not fit. Good luck on your move, have fun with it. Beth

Quiltingfan....I have done those sort of moves...yes, we tend to forget.
This move is a bit discombobulated if you ask me. DOn't know why, but for some reason, just cannot seem to get my act together. I'm usually done with going thru things and all is set, but this time, they will just pack what is not sorted thru. Just sort it on the other side, I guess.
But, on a happy note, we might have a place to live. It's a condo which is owned by the priest here. The price is good, he allows cats...ok, he has 2 of his own and he won't charge extra for them. He did ask if we could paint the inside of the garage when we get there. He says it needs repainting according to the manager he has and he said he would give us the money for the paint, or we could buy it, send him the reciept and take the money off the rent. It sounds like a great deal and we just might take it. Just need to see it and ask a few more questions. If it's a condo/townhome, then it will be ok, if it's not, then I really don't want people living above me...know what I mean?
