Late August: I laid out material for a new project that was going to be beautiful.
September: Started some renovations on our house. Didn't have time for quilting.
Med-October: Family came and stayed a month. Didn't have time for quilting.
Mid-November: Basement bathroom decided to go oops. Didn't have time for quilting.
December, Christmas, and New Years. Didn't have time for quilting.
Now I have time for quilting and I can't remember what my beautiful project looks like.
:-( back to playing with frabric. fabric

The fun part about that is that now you can create something totally new. All that busy stuff is behind you now, so go play with your fabrics and come up with something else. Be sure to show us pictures, even during the construction phase. :D

Been there too.....I've learned to take a picture of the layout or pen a discription of what I wanted to do.....
then again, it like you just bought it and just play... Good luck

Don't be upset about that. If you are like me, what I liked in September is completely different from what I like today. Just have fun playing with the fabric before someone else decides to come and stay for a while. You are obviously a gracious hostess or they wouldn't stay so long. No one would want to stay with me for a month. I'm sure my husband would probably leave if I would turn loose of him. :D

This is a great idea. I tie a ribbon around the fabrics until I have time to go back to them. Sometimes I can't remember exactly how I intended to use them. A picture would be perfect.
