In March Chief Roy is going to teach us to make a drum. My idea is to paint a lone star on it and maybe a feather or two.
The star of course for my quilting and a feather or two for the indian in me.
What do you all think?
Any other neat ideas for the drum?

Of course I will. I can't wait for March to get here! It is my brithday present to myself. hehe
It is going to cost $75.00 for the kit. And then we will have a blessing ceremony for give our drums their song. Isn't that neat?

Perhaps some special design from your Native heritage.

Do you have a power animal or what some may call a totem animal? Many traditions these are applied to the drum.
