My DH stepped on my big cutting mat and bent it. I think he was trying to pick it up with a grabber and bent it with his foot to grab the corner. Not sure what to do now. There is a ripple at about 15 inches. I'm so heated!! I suppose I can flip it to the back and put the ripple to the top. But I do use the grid to line things up. :|

Could you lay it flat out in the sun to let it get back to shape??

Be careful, the sun will warp it.

Don't put it in the sun. It will only make matters worse. Ask me how I know!

When mine got bent really bad from being stuffed in a closet, I laid it out on the patio in the sun for a couple of hours. When I went to bring it in it was as good as new.
Hope this works for you.

We are not going to have too much sun anytime soon so I don't think that is too much of an option. I might put some heavy books on it and then blow some hot air on it. If that fails...yes I'm getting a new one.

50% off Joann coupon coming up. I might get lucky.

Stick it in between your box springs and mattress on your bed for a few days or you can put a heavy box or two on top of it while its laying flat on the floor out of the walk way.

I put mine inthe sun on my walkway and covered it with a piece of cotton fabric and put a couple of bricks on the wrinkled spot. Came back nice and flat flat and I use it all the time....
