iPad, pictures, and problems

Has anyone figured out how to load pictures from an iPad? The help just says use the browse button, but on the iPad the browse button is greyed out, so photos from the photo folder aren't accessible, which is why I have no avatar yet. Can always do it on my laptop, but would just like to not be required to switch computers for this board. I'm seriously addicted to my iPad.
