Default Ipad

Well I am off to the mall to the Apple Store. My Dh & I both got a new IPad for Christmas now we just need to learn how to use it. I know how to do some stuff on it since its just like my IPhone, just can't figure out how to get my books off my puter onto the Ipad. The Ipad shows up in Itunes but not on My Computer.

I believe you need to use your cord and plug it into your computer...its also updates your ipad...then on your computer open itunes. My son just showed that to me.

If your books are in Itunes..open itunes on your Zipad. If your books are formatted fr Kindle, get the Kindle app. Maybe you can attach the book files to an emil to yourself, open your emil on Zipad and the downlad them, you will need to set up /sync your iphone. Ipad email together. Make notes to take with you. Bring your Itunes passwords with you too. They will ask for it.

You don't download directly to your iPad? Oh, do you already have books in your computer? Just plug up and download them.

Nope, icloud doesn't do that for me. But...I d/l'd "Dropbox on the ipad and on my computer, and that's what Dropbox does, And add the Dolphin browser, and you can download embroidery designs to Dropbox and have them appear in your computer also. I had forgotten to suggest that. She can add dropbox and put her books into it on the computer, and they'll appear on the iPad. Aint technology wonderful!!

Went to the apple store and he showed me how to get my books off the putrefaction onto the IPad but by the time I got home I forgot those to do it. Duh me! I have around 1000 books on my outer where Igot from several different places, I do remember that he did tell me to download the new iTunes. I did get my books into iTunes but just can't figure out how to get them out of iTunes into my IPad, can't find the sync button. The new iTunes's really different. I had to go out of state due to a funeral so now I have to find Apple store in Indianapolis, I think there is only one here.

A good friend of mine who loved Apple products told me it was much easier than a PC. Well I got an ipad and have messed with it and messed with it. Still have not found anything wonderful about it. But I keep trying. I have another tasblet that is so easy to navigate and play with it more than the ipad and it cost a 1/3 of what the ipad did and does just as much if not more as far as I can tell. Maybe I am just too old for these new "contraptions", as my mother would have called them. Of course I have had family members ask for the ipad if I do not want it LOL. I am going to go to an Apple store when the weather gets warmer.
