Default Ironing Center

Working on an ironing center. It is made of white oak, the top is quarter sawn and shows the rays in the wood real nice. Used all mortise and tenon joinery. Measures 60x28x36".

I will add a plywood/OSB top over the oak covered with warm and natural and duck cloth. The ironing surface will hinge up so the oak top can be used as a cutting surface.
Will add drawers under the top.
Will post pictures of progress.

It's a beautiful table but oooooooh how can you cover it up for an ironing table!
Looks to me like it needs to stay in it's naked state, to show itself off!!

Well Done!

WWhat a nice addition to your studio! Perhaps you could draft a pattern and sell it. This would work great in my shop!

Seriously!! My first thought was "Does he take orders?" That is lovely and I have to confess to a little case of green-eyed monster!
