if you get a chance to watch Cspan2 and catch Isabel Wilkerson at Atlanta History Center discussing her book about the migration from the South to Chicago, please do watch. She's a very good speaker and lovely to listen to. Having one's family history is always wonderful, but failing that, just learning about our nations history is heart warming. I am going to try to get her book and read it myself.
Last night i happened to watch Vanessa Williams on the show where they take celebrities and help them find their family histories. she got a lot of information on her Great Grandfathers.
