I can't eat bananas or yogurt, makes me gag but I can eat banana splits with no problem. I can't eat apples with the peel on them it bothers my throat and makes me cough and I get hiccups when I drink root beer thru a straw. Also can't eat anything that has eyes looking at me or still has the legs on it.

Since I was a young child, always hated milk, would gag...but always would drink buttermilk and still do. Ice tea I put three or four slices of lemon...hot tea NO lemon, a teaspoon of milk lol.

No LIMA BEANS or PEAS! No Crawdads! Ick. Lobster, ok. No Cod Liver Oil. My DAD forced us to take as kids, said it would stop colds because cod fish never get a cold. We would take it then puke. My Mom put a stop to that thank God!

I agree, but I did try this fish it was soooo good, it came with the head on it. My mom kept making these comments about the fish and I told her to stop like 3 times bc I wouldn't be able to finish it. I had to take it home and try later. My hubby will take the head off for me.

I thought I loved most everything until I read this thread and it reminded me...no pancakes...gooey...like a waffle very well toasted with apple butter...no syrup or any kind of jelly, too slimy ! Can't stand cottage cheese and that comes from being overweight most of my life and living on cottage cheese, boiled eggs and plain salads...yuk ! Can't eat lasagna just because I know it has cottage cheese in there lurking ! I don't eat the crust of bread on a sandwich BUT will only eat the outside crust of a biscuit...throw all the gummy stuff out....

What makes us like this ? I don't know. Milk, would die immediately if someone told me I had to drink milk or heaven forbid, a milkshake ! YUK ! Can't drink anything that is sort of thick which includes tomato juice...like the taste but not the consistency....
