Our lot are just the same....dogs as well. I am out in the yard watering and tidying, or dashing around doing household chores and they are usually on the couch asleep. I tell you, next time I want to come back as a cat or dog....

Great guards, just protecting their territory.

Our dachshund doesn't like it when I sew because she cannot sit with me. So she tells me she needs to go out, she wants to play, she sees something out the window. Anything she can think of that might get me off my sewing perch. Just a wee bit spoiled!

Your "help" is gorgeous. One of my kitties is curled up asleep on the back of the recliner and the other is trying to lick my hand as I type. I think that is code for "quit typing and pet me!"

There are now 3 of these furry ones. And my TommyGirl is having a hard time training the 2 newbies. China sits on my lap and tries to stop the fabric from its forward movement while George is in the back trying to pull the fabric towards him. And poor Tommy is trying to hand out Jethro taps to both and grumbling then she gives me ''the'' stare. I'm thinking she does not care much for their behavior. They do the same thing when my bother is using one of the machines and it does not take long before I hear him saying -OK you juvenile delinquents are out of here and the door shuts and then George comes to help me and China will sit outside the door waiting for her chance to get back in to help. Hey he has to open the door eventually : )

Awww how precious ... my quilt/garment inspector is asleep on the bedroom floor right now .. Guarding her sleeping Dad (as he works nights) from all the monsters and aliens LOL :-)

Your cats are beautiful - maybe they are testing the softness of the pillow, although I just realized that Snowflower is perched on your sewing machine. Aren't they great companions?

I sure miss my furry helper, he enjoyed watching me sew, the moving needle was what he like to watch most of all. He never tried to touch it just watch.
