Here in central IN it is hot (over 90), humid (heat index over 110) and we need rain very badly! I just came home from our county fair where I sweltered in the cattle barn and show arena from about 3-7. Finally, at 7 I gave up and headed inside the lovely air-conditioned exhibit hall. While at the show arena I drank 3 lemon shake-ups...I have sweated so much I never even had to take a 'potty-break'! LOL I really feel for the 4Hers and their livestock. DH (on the fair board) says that they have not lost any animals so far and that the kids are doing a great job trying to keep the animals relatively comfortable. I am just glad that our kids are grown so I don't have to be spending all my time at the fair this week. I went today to watch the sons of a very dear friend.

I hear ya Sister! I hate this 100 & over temps that we have had for 28 days so far this year. Come on Fall & Winter. :thumbup:

I got very wet with the rain. I drive the elderly to appointments etc. When I put the umbrella up it just turned inside out. I worked the rest of the day in wet clothes and really bad hair. Wednesday should be a blast.

It is HOT and only supposed to get hotter here! YUCK! Thank God that my little house has AC! But I am still not looking forward to the bill!
