Default It's so nice watching them grow up...

My 17-year-old son just went off for his first day of Teller Training at a local bank, where he's landed a summer internship.

This morning he left wearing a brand new shirt and tie, and khakis... looking like a very handsome young businessman. I had to take a picture to remember the moment... seems not long ago that I took a picture of him getting on the schoolbus for the very first time.

I'm so happy for him! First job, and it's on his career path. He wants to do something with finances or accounting.

What a precious picture you've painted of this special day! I know you are so proud and can't wait to hear his story at the end of the day.

They do grow up fast, don't they? Congrats to your son, on his internship!

You should be mighty proud! Just when I think "the kids" are going to you-know-where in a handbasket, I hear about a nice boy like yours... WTG!

Oh... yeah... the one I though was in that proverbial handbasket... ahem... just finished his first year of pre-seminary!

So that's 2 out of 3 that are on their way.

Just leaves one more.

If 65% is passing, I'm doing ok as a mom, at least for now!

It is amazing when kids get started on the road to adulthood (although later they will realize that being an adult is more difficult than they thought). My three are all doing career-wise what they went to college for. Money well spent. They are so smart and know way more about life than I did at their ages

Good for you and your children! It is amazing isn't it? My youngest is 59 and just jumps at a chance to help us old folks. Good for us! ha.
