I have a ton of these and have posted some for others to use. BUT,I cant tell anyone how to change the formats so they can be used as avatars... I figured mine out by trial and error but not everone has the same options on their programs so I cant help them. Can some of you computer savvy peeps shed some light on all this?? I dont have a clue what all those names mean(gifs,j pegs,pings etc!)

When you've got the file open, click Save As, then click the dropdown box to select the file format from the list...BMP, JPEG, GIF, etc.

I have found the JPEG is the most universal usable format. I'm not real savy but that's what I use most of the time.
