Went to JoAnn's today for a new rotary cutter which I got with my 40% off coupon. Looked at the new fabric and my gosh, a lot of it, even the flannel is $12.99. DH was with me so I didn't spend a lot of time, but I guess the price of cotton will catch up with all of us.

Guess we will have to take advantage of those 40 per cent coupons.

Well, that's just discouraging. Add in the price of gas, a 90 mile round trip and I'm going to be using fabric from my stash rather than buying new. Even a 40% coupon doesn't make it affordable.

I went to my JoAnn's Wed. and did not find but about half of quilting cottons as they used to have. None, or very little, was new. I don't know what is going on, but our Walmart seems to have more than they did. Our Walmart does not have a large material section. Everything they have is on one long shelving unit, with some out in the center at the end of the cutting table.
