I've been watching cooking shows, and they are all saying it would be wonderful to fix a home cook meal for the one you love. Here is my problem, I cook 2 meals everyday for my loved one and I'm sure he would like a break from my cooking and I sure as heck would like a night out and let some one else do the cooking. Anyone else feel the same?

LOL, i said to dh, my neices invited me to a card party on Valentines Day, what do you think> He said 'fine with me, I'm going to a Nascar Party. So much for being worried about hurting his feelings LOL

I will use any excuse not to cook. I like cooking, just don't like thinking of what to make! Going out on Valentines day is out of the question with my hubby. He won't wait for a table for more than 2 minutes! At least he's not picky about what I cook.

Eating in or out isn't important to me. I just want to be eating with someone I love and they love me.

Boy am I ever. The only problem, dear hubby won't set foot in a restaurant anymore. He's gotten sooooo fussy in his old age. Even the foods he used to like are now echhh! I think I'm limited to chicken, chicken, steak, chicken maybe the occasional piece of fish or pork... Salads only with head lettuce no romaine or spinach. You get my drift.

I'm glad my quilting sisters still like to eat out once and a while

I agree Justok. Let someone else do the cooking and clean-up!

I always cook on Valentine's Day. Everyone in the family gets an individual sized heart shaped pizza. It's a tradition from when the kids were little and they won't let me quit.

My husband and I don't really worry about V-day. We have two anniversaries in March (the day we met and our wedding day). Besides we don't need a "card" holiday to know we care for one another.
