A friend asked me to make her son a cape, recently. I'd never made one but started to get creative. He likes frogs and his knickname is "Monster" so I set out from there. I made it reversible for him with a monster on each side. All in all, it took about 8 hours of time, split over two days, but I think I'll stick to quilts.
