with a foam brush I modge podged the plate on the back side then placed on fabric. waited a few mins flipped it over used sewing shears cut round the rim. then flipped the plate back over and modge podged the back side covering the fabic and then with my fingers smoothed out any air bubbles. then dried. the modge podge dries clear. if the glass is scratched it may show the scratches. You can buy the plates new for a 1.00 at the dollar store. They are fun to make

Last year for Christmas I made several with Christmas fabric and added a pretty candle. I think they made a nice gift and I received compliments. I made one and painted the candle to coordinate with the fabric.

My sons have placed their order...I am surprised on how much they like them. I am making them one for each of their favorite sport . I am also going to check out on how much it will cost me to make them clocks with sport fabric.
