Mama kitty has been sick all morning. vomitting and diarrhea. She wouldn't eat or drink anything and she really wasn't feeding the babies. Took her to the vet. 103.4 fever. Dr. thinks she might have postpartum sepsis. She got a shot and I have to give her 10 pills over the next 5 days.
I'm greatful we were able to take her to the vet and they they are taking payments.
Mama is home and feeding her babies.

OMG! She just had the babies and then this! Hope all is well from now on and no more problems! Get them all fixed ASAP! I had to do that with all my critters as much as I like the babies, I can't afford any more! :?

If it's not one thing it's another. But what would we do without them. My neighbor lady had caught the two stray cats in out neighborhood and got them their shots and had them fixed. What an animal lover. I really like her.

I have over $500.00 since October into our foundling. He is BAD!!!!!! But we love him. Good luck with your babies (including Momma) There are organizations that will help with the cost of neutering.

What is postpartum sepsis? It sounds like depression. I'm glad she's doing better.

I wish soomeone would do that here cause i have 2 cats, i need to get them fixed but its so expensive here in norway and i thought id have then chip them and vaksinated at the same time so it all adds up 2 about 1800 nok X 2 so thats a lotttt of money on me that are on benefit
the best deal i can get is to split up the payments though.

2 kinda justefy myself i did have one cat that is adopted and i was told that she was fixed and unfortenately she ran away and thanj godnes she came home after 10 days and that was one of the happiest moments ever, she did bring home apresent in form of a kitten, lol. so now we have 2 cats that needs fixing, ofcourse we did keep her, i v always thought animals benefit of having a friend:) and i love them both 2 bits. :D

Good Luck with Puss. We took Gus and Finn to the vet yesterday. Both healthy doggies except for Gus's on-going ear infection. 477.00 later we went home. Pets are expensive. But worth every cent!
