I think it is... but we don't have elk here and I've never seen one in person so I'm not sure.

Yes. Before I'd seen an Elk I was told to look for a deer on steroids (:)). This is an Elk.

He looks like an elk bugling for a girlfriend, doesn't see the cow behind him apparently!! Or is he letting all the other bulls know she's his!!
