I know the feeling. I was trying to finish making diaper covers, last week, for my daughter -in-law's shower on this past saturday...and I just kept having troubles...broke 3 needles, sewed up the turning hole...you name it. So I quit and put a note in my gift for her....more to follow. ( grin).
Hang in there. Tomorrow is another day.

ME TOO!!

I know I shouldn't be happy that someone else is having a crappy day but at least I'm not alone!!

The apartment above ours has been leaking into our kitchen for about 6 months. The landlord/maintence man both know about the problem. The ceiling tile crashed (for the 3rd time) and all of my Pampered Chef stuff was covered in ceiling tile goo and gross brown water. I have about two more sink-full loads of dishes to wash (by hand, we don't have a dishwasher) and then I can wash the dishes from dinner a couple nights ago (they were buried with the PC stuff when I was trying to clean up the tile).

On top of that *I* did all four baskets full of laundry, mopped up more water leak -twice-, found a bucket big enough to start collecting the leak water, graded papers from a college class, created (-ing, still working) lessons for two college classes this week and I desperately want to finish a quilt I started yesterday.

All while the boyfriend had a great day playing with his friends. Not that I begrudge him a bit of fun - but c'mon - a little help maybe?

I'm so angry I'm afraid to sew - who knows what mistakes would be made.

=) we can get through this -- we can vent to each other!!!

;)

Sometimes it just best to walk away and let it go for a while. I'm glad things are going better.
