Default Just saw The Hunger Games movie

The filming was so bad I could not watch it. My eyes bothered me for the rest of the day.
My dauther had a headache after watching it.
They ruined a good movie with all the jerking camera even in closeups. Then to make it even worse they blurred the background. It was awful and will not be going to see any sequals.
Loved the books. Great story.

Sorry you did not enjoy the movie. I thought it was pretty good...not quite as good as the book but no movie ever is as good as the book, in my opinion. I have seen it twice.

A local film critic/reviewer talked about that on our news so I didn't even want to go see it.

I agree with you...no movie is as good as the book. This movie was alright. I think it got "over-hyped".

They blurred the gory images to keep the children from seeing the gory details of the killings. I'm on the third book. I saw the movie first, then decided I needed to read the books. Great story, but a very sad concept.

I didn't see how I could enjoy a movie where the characters were going to be killed off one by one. I think movie producers don't worry about older eyes because we are not the main audience. I don't go to see 3Dmovies either. I did see a news story that said they are seeing a new bunch of students in archery classes because of it. I thought that was neat.

I must have seen a different version than some of you. It was blurry in all the the backgrounds not just gory ones.
My younger dauther saw it with me and both of us had eye trouble from it.
The movie would have been good if not filmed all jerky. Of course alot was skipped that was in the book.
My other daughter also saw it and it made her sick to her stomach from the jerky filming.
