Your sister should be able to find a good sewing machine. Here in FL so many older people pass and have sewing machines so thrift stores, yard sales and estate sales should yield a good one. some material too if she is lucky. Will be looking for what he has made. Very creative mind it sounds like he has.

My daughter (33 and single) also lives in Pensacola! She bought a used Brother from a Bernina store there. They gave her good instruction on using the machine and were very mindful of her budget.

Nathan's New Art Tool!
Hey y'all, here is Nathan's new /used sewing machine! Kenmore 16530. I found it on Craigslist in Pensacola for $45! My sister picked it yesterday. the lady who owned it serviced it regularly and the machine was in pristine condition! She sews her own clothes and her DH bought her a new bigger machine for Christmas. I think we have become new friends! Can't wait until he sees it!

Lisa, that's great! Don't forget that shopgoodwill.com and craigslist are good sources of cheap sewing machines, so look there. You can google "searchallcraigslist" and you can then type in sewing machines and look all over for one. Happy hunting and good luck to your son. You planted the seed.
