Red face for those of you who like PURPLE

last Sunday we went to our local 'Lavender Farm'.

Love everything lavender. My Grandmother had lavender planted near every window at her house. She said it just calmed her so. She would take the lavender and crush it and throw it into her bath and save some for later. She also dried it for the winter and put it into her pillows between the case and the pillow. She did the same with rose petals. She made potpourri before it ever became popular.

I cut my lavender, dried it and keep a basket of it in my bedroom. Often before going to bed I crunch the stems and the whole bedroom smells for hours. It also helps when I have a headache, to breath a lavender scent.
