Default Kaffe sock yarn

about a year ago i found a great sale on kaffe fasset 4 ply sock yarn so i bought some ... i mistakenly thought it was the same weight etc as the acrylic brand yarn in most stores (which i use for swedish weaving) ... i don't know how to knit or crochet but i dont want this yarn to go to waste.... does anyone have any ideas for it or if i were to learn to crochet what kind of needle would i need?

If the yarn is the same as this - http://www.carodanfarm.com/shopsite_...oduct7038.html, then it uses size 2 knitting needles (which is really small for learning).

Quick search on ravelry turns this up (for Regia Kaffe Fassett Design Line Sock Yarn) - http://www.ravelry.com/yarns/library...less=0&search=

**ideas: scarf, phone cover, phone cozy, shawl and (of course) socks.

I forgot to add this - http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/

You can look through that to see what patterns you want to try. (no I am not a crafting enabler...)
