Today was the day for my knee surgery. I am at home now and doing well. Will be off work two weeks, but maybe I can get some sewing in. They were going to repair a tear in my meniscus but it was too mangled to repair so they removed it. Doc told my DD I wouldn't feel much pain tonight, but it will be worse tomorrow. All I know is I feel NO pain tonight and I have pain pills if I need them tomorrow. Anyway all is well and thanks to all of you for your good thoughts and prayers.

Glad things went well. And keep on top of the pain, don't let it get too bad. And hopefully you can get some quilting done while you recoup  Keep us posted

Glad things went well. I had a torn Meniscus repaired about 2 years ago. they took about 80%. Keep ice on it and keep it elevated. I had mine sort of freeze up on me around the 3rd day but got into the Physical Therapist by the 5th and got it all worked out. I couldn't straighten it or bend it very much.
I was able to get sewing in the 2 weeks I was off work, unlike the shoulder surgery last year. It was 4 1/2 mos of no sewing then!!!

So glad that the surgery went well and that you're home and on the mend. I hope the pain stays at bay, but if you feel the need, don't wait to long to take a pain pill...

So happy to hear that your surgery went well :D Find a good chair and pillow to prop your foot/leg up on while sewing... and take it easy and be careful of pain pills and using your machine

Glad everything went okay. Remember that you're home to recuperate! If that means keeping your knee elevated, that may preclude any marathon sessions at the sewing machine!

Glad to hear surgery is over and home safely!

You pop a pill when you need it, don't try to be brave, and have some fun with all of this sewing time!
