Thanks to all of you who provided information about knee surgery to me and calming my fears. Last week I had my MRI, and the doctor says that I don't need surgery. Physical Therapy should help. I'm glad that it wasn't a meniscus tear, and I'm very optimistic about what my PT will do. I'll be going to PT three times a week for four weeks. The goal is to get the swelling down and then work on tightening the loose ligaments. Once that's accomplished, my knee shouldn't pop out of it's groove anymore and cause so much pain. :)

I'm in the same boat as you, I've opted for physical therapy also. Good luck with yours. You are a tad younger than I so you should heal quicker!!LOL!

That's so good to hear!!! I'm happy for you. I have knee trouble as well - that's one of the things that's next on my list to get looked at. I hope I get the same prescription as you. :)

That's great news! Physical therapy worked wonders for my knee (I did have to have minor surgery before it).
Those therapists are wonderful!! :D
