Default knitted 23 inch tall doll

she came out taller then pattern said, but I tend to knit loosely. This is the front and back of her. Her sweater, purple pants, skirt and hat are all removable. She has a purple grograin ribbon on her pigtails. She took a LONG time to make. I hope you enjoy her. She is named Posy on the pattern I used. Wendy Phillips of Dollytime (online) sells the pattern for online download for $4.95.

Cute, cute, cute! And since she came out larger than you expected, that just means that there's more of her to love!

Her pattern (POSY) came from Dollytime by Wendy Phillips from on line. $4.95. I love her doll patterns and she is so good to help when something seems confusing. I had outside help I used for the hair (braids) that was SUPER easy.

I'm glad you all liked the doll.

She is adorable and worthy of all the time you spent making her.

I ended up giving 'Posy' to the girl we watched growing up from when she was 6 to her now being 28 with a 6 month old baby. She calls hubby and I honorary grandparents. She is down here visiting her mom and dad for 2 weeks. Her hubby is in the Coast Guard and stationed in Alaska. I told her the gift was for the little girl we woman all have inside us. She loved it. I told her maybe some day she will be able to pass it down to her daughter to have.

I know she will always treasure and care for it. Every year till she turned 18, I made something for her for her birthday, and always took time to spend with her, when I could. Her parents have been good neighbors.

Vickey

Thanks to every one for the precious comments.
