I got a large piece of batting wrapped around the ruler I ordered from them. I cut enough 4" batting squares to make six sets of four coasters for my guild sale table. I'm sure the are swamped with batting scraps from the LA service they offer. What a great way to use some of it.

Once purchased a bag of batting along with some fabric at JAF also purchased some slim stemware for gifts. The batting had drawstring opening. I carefully placed the 4 glasses of stemware on the fabric. After I got checked out, I went to the side and opened the batting and shoved the stemware between the layers of the batting. No worries of the glass breaking before I got home. I use batting often when I'm sending any breakables through the mail. Even in gift bags.

Fantastic idea of using batting for packing.
