Thanks for sharing this it was very interesting. What a skill those women have, makes piecing look really easy! I am glad that they are trying to keep the art alive.

And I thought that I did a good thing when I crocheted some lace and a Christening dress!! Their work is spectacular.

Mandyrose I was going to skip this post but I so glad I didn't. This was so interesting. Living in Phoenix for the winter, I had no idea all these beautiful aloe plants that surround us could be made into lace. This was very cool! Thanks for sharing.
