We live in the upstairs of an old business bldg downtown in our little town. There is a long window at the top of the stairs that looks out on the roof next door. One nite I went to the head of the stairs for some reason and saw a boy walking around on the roof next door. I stuck my head out the window and yelled at him "What are you doing?" He put his hands in his pockets and struck an innocent pose and said,"Oh just walking around>" I said, "On my roof, at 11:00 at nite?" You better get out of here cause I am calling the cops." I I did and gave the dispatcher a description of the kid and what he was wearing. Then a bit later she called back and said that an officer had just encountered the kid. I asked what happened and she said he told him to get home cause it was after curfue. That was all he did about it. I never saw the kid again but I think if I was the officer I woud have taken the kid home and told his parents what he was up to late at nite.
