My pet peeve is when I ask someone a question, I expect an answer (even if it is wait a minute) without having to repeat myself before it gets answered (uh hummm, my DH is guilty of this).

Another one I have, is when people stand in the middle of the isle yaking to one another, say in Walmart etc.. and they see you trying to get around them but WON'T MOVE!!!!!!!

Couple years ago I was at a buffet restaurant, a plump family came in, parents & 3 children. They loaded their plates, sat near us, they ate everything, went back for 2nds and 3rds while we were still on our first and only plates. The one little boy then went outside, there was a bush near the door, I saw him make himself toss his meal. He than came back in and reloaded a plate. I just could not believe my eyes. Makes you wonder what kind of kids will these youngers someday will have.
that is so gross...I can't believe it, just so he could eat more ug!

so go ahead and wad up those napkins - keep somebody in a job....

I guess one of my pet peeves is people automatically assuming that all paper products come from beautiful forests being decimated instead of a cash crop....

oh, and after clearcutting (which mostly is NOT done here) replanting is usually done within a month or so - so in another 12 years, there's another crop...
Thank you, I'm not in tree country but have always told people this when they say if I use too much of this or that that I'm killing a tree. Believe it or not I learned this about tree farmers from the Boy Scouts of American years ago. My youngest is 29 so it's been a long time since I've been a scout mother.

how about ending a sentence with a preposition.

I see that so often that I was wondering if that part of grammar has changed over the years...it's been a mighty long time since I sat in a classroom.

"I and me"
.................where were people when they were taught the difference between a subject and an object of a sentence?

People in the grocery store, big as a Mack truck with a bugy full of ice cream, cookies, Little Debbie Cakes & chips. And they wonder why they are fat. Also no offensive to folks who really need these but people in the motorized chair carts that don't know how to drive & nearly run over you.

What in the name of all that is holy, are parents doing to their children? My SIL always says that stupid people shouldn't procreate. After reading this, I know he is rite.
