Spending the week with my DS in lovely, cool Colorado. This from a Texas gal who lived through the hotest summer ever in the DFW area. It actually sleeted today! We have the hummingbird feed out and are seeing a few, although some may have migrated south already. I spotted some deer this morning, and a black squirrel which, I understand is rarely seen in this area.

We are having a great time at her mountain house, even though there is some remodeling going on upstairs and we are living the basement. She has her "office" set up and I have my "sewing room" set up. We are working on a denim and flannel raggy quilt for my nephew, and we each brought a WIP. Hers is a Thimbleberry Lodge quilt and mine is a 1930's repro fabric sampler BOL from my LQS. I have been sharing some of the Board posts with my sister, and now we have her signed up to receive the newsletter, too.

Thanks to all you wonderful people out there who share info, tips, tutes, etc. I will post pics when projects are done. Later.
