These shots were taken from my back deck, in two separate mornings.. The rainbow photos came after a sprinkle on July 2nd, and the Grackles ( blue birds) were taken this morning.. so pretty here in eastern Oregon!

What a beautiful rainbow. I'm still looking for that pot of gold. And what a pretty bird. I have never seen one of those. Thanks for sharing.

Our grackles are brown and look more like cowbirds. Does your kind sing? I have heard that some do.

Pam, This is the first time we have seen these beauties show up on our deck, but as for singing, all I know is I thought the neighbor's 3 cats had captured a big bird, and were killing it.. only to find out, the noise were these blues squawking at the french door window where I stood watching.. so, yea, if squawking was singing, they do it quite loud, and quite well, lol..

still getting the hang of adding more photos to the thread with my previous rainbows, ect.. Hopefully this last rainbow photo will show up, lol.. I am so entirely blessed to live in the Blue Mountains, of eastern Oregon.. we are treated to many beautiful sunsets, and sunrises, as well as other wildlife - deer, elk, mountain lions ( is that a treat, or are we treats for their dinners? me bad  ).
Anyway, enjoy my " backyard" with the following photos!

well, my yard in all its colorful array last fall
