Default Little Chuckle for Quilt Gift Givers

Check out today's Zits comic strip. Gotta love that second frame! (Though maybe not the final frame.)

Have it finished by the time he leaves for college? Maybe by the time he has his first child. LOL

I love love love Zits. I swear they have been using my youngest son as the inspiration for years. He even looks like Jeremy. The guys who draw the strip capture teenage boys and the strange way they view the world and their parents perfectly.

And they seem to know quilters as well! I've never given fabric squares but I have been known to give semi-made tops.

Be sure to back it up to the cartoon on 12-25-11 to see the cartoon she is referring to- the link brings up today's cartoon, which no longer is Xmas.

I always read ZITS...it captures my sons so well...The one years ago that had the son cleaning out his room and bringing out a stack of dishes is still my favorite...in it the Mom says that she gave away the dishes with that pattern 2 years ago...ROFL...
As to the current cartoon...I just gave my dad a quilt that I took back home....I still have to do the quilting...it is sandwiched but needs to be finished. I did get a strange look from him, too.

I, too, love Zits. I always get the desk calendar! He reminds me of my 15 year-old great nephew. I have been reading Zits for years so I feel better prepared for him! LOL

I signed up to get them every day! Thanks for the link!
