Default Little glitch in saving bookmarks!

This morning I posted to a thread which automatically subscribed me to the thread, then when I went to bookmark it, that option was not available, so I unsubscribed, then went to thread tools, subscribed and place it in the bookmark folder, and in the process also it subscribes me to thread. Thought others might like to know this! BOOKMARK first then post!

It worked, that's so funny! I was wondering how I could bookmark my threads again.

Thanks for posting your discovery, it does make a difference!

I am wondering why some of these little things arent gathered in one place that we could all go to, like bookmarks, signatures, etc. Of course I opened the board this am and was overwhelmed by how many posts there were, so I guess we are all learning how to get around.

bookmarks are under Settings at the top of the page, and then scroll down the left side of the next page. bookmarks, editing signature, etc all there.
i had being subscribed to postings. i don't want to be bombarded with emails. i get in here every day as it is.

Thanks Pat! I wondered about that, but hadn't gotten around to playing with it yet. I did discover that when I go to Quick Links and click on Subscribed Threads I have to remember to also check the Bookmark folder. It automatically opens the Subscription folder.

A "driver's manual" sure would be nice. An explaination of everything that you could print out and refer to as you need help for something. I'm sure others would breathe a sigh of relief as I would if we had this. Trying to find instructions that someone posts is an adventure in itself. glenda

I am reading this post, & others here right now, but don't see where to bookmark any? I see "blog this post", is that it now, or where is it hiding, lol?

Pat, I did the same thing you did. I went to thread tools, subscribed and placed it in the bookmark folder. Does doing this actually save it in bookmarks for you. How does it save it when you have left the other screen? On the old forum, all you had to do was to look to the left on the screen you wanted to save and click on the bookmark.
