I rescued a Redbone Coonhound, too. She was only a year old at the time. She only gets hyper, if there's an animal outside. She's especially fond of chasing squirrels, rabbits and cats out of the yard. She chased away a woochuck one time. Nevere saw it again. But she's always been real calm, otherwise. Mostly, just lays around the house or our on the deck. She's 6 years old now.
