I am trying to teach my 7 year old granddaughter to embroidery patterns or kits. I am hunting for the kind with the larger x stitch. I have looked at all the craft stores. She has straight line embroidery almost down now on to other things.

Have you looked in some colorbooks? Maybe adding the X's yourself.

Walmart use to carry them ?

My mom used to mark patterns for us on larger gingham then hoop it to hold it taut. This was for cross-stitch, but I am sure you could do something similar.
