we stayed up..set up chairs in our circle..had terrible cloud cover and it never cleared up enough to see it for long! We were disappointed!! Here in north central Virginia

Here in the Richmond area it was poor visibility for a while but by 2 it cleared up....where are you in VA?

Fredericksburg. Clear around 2...then cloudy here from then until after 3..short period where it cleared up beautifully and then endless cloud cover. Wish we could catch it on a program now..but not the same.

Got to see it on the TV, to clouded over to see it here. We only have to wait another 84c years to see another on the solstice. I'm gonna see it. LOL

Cathy, I guess my clouds blew right up to Fredricksburg! It was exactly the opposite an hour south....sorry!
