Default Machine Embroidery thread help

Anyone ever use Isacord Thread? I am making lace snowflakes and NEED some (lots) of white. Of course I am trying to get the best price, nice quality, and a nice shiny color white. Please respond if you have a good type and price. I do have a JoAnn's 50% coupon, but thought maybe online might be better. Let me know your thoughts!
Thanks

I used to work for HIRSCH in Hauppauge NY.
THey were mfgrs and dist of TAJIMA emb. machines (the big professional ones).
Try them, the prices back then were pretty good

I'm not an embroidery person, but I know that Metro Embroidery has good prices -- even better when you hit one of their half price sales! Here is the link: http://metroemb.com/store/

Edit: If you are familiar with Glide thread, both Metro and Sigma are supposed to be similar to Glide, which does have a nice amount of shine to it.

Thanks! Those prices are wonderful...I ordered from Metro and will try it out once my package comes! Reviews were good for my Brother machine too!

I think you will like the Metro and Sigma, I'm new to embroider and have a Brother machine and just added lots of Metro and Sigma to my supplies and they workup wonderfully. I just met a really nice gal at Spokane Quilt show, who creates and digitizes for a living and she recommends these threads as 1 of her top 3 favorites.

I use Isacord all the time, but not for embroidery. I use it for quilting. Love it. I do have to admit that I find it a little spendy ($6.00 per small cone, but great yardage); it is strong, smooth, and my machine loves it.

I followed a tip I read on this site was threadart.com, they just had a sale. Small cones $1.29 it works great on my Bernina 750. Isacord is recommended by my Bernina dealer, I have used it and it's great but expensive.
