has anyone made a banner for a flagpole? {like winnie pooh, etc} i was wondering if there is more than one type of fabric you can use that is durable to stand up to weather? or is nylon my best bet?

I haven't made them but I know there is such a thing as stop-rip nylon. I've been also thinking about making some banners and I read somewhere that this is the stuff to use. Not sure!

If you are going to fly it like a regular flag too much fabric or seams will make it too heavy to fly. A safer bet is to get the flag/banner pole that allows you to hand it vertically and then you can see it all. The rip-stop nylon is good but can be expensive.

actually, wouldn't it be better if it didn't fly? that way it would be "seen" better/more often than if it was waving in the breeze...

thanks for giving me something to think about...hhhmmmm...
