Maritime Snow Lady

Just thought I'd share this Snow Lady I made for a friend to give as a Christmas gift. It was a challenge as I have not done any sewing except quilting for quite some time and my skills were really rusty for such fussy work. Would I make another one ? Maybe..............................or not.

oh she is so adorable...these are the things we need to make now and again to keep our wits sharp at the machine! and to use up stash not quite up to quilting standards...as in not enough, too big print, etc...

Oh isn't she pretty, obviously a picture taken inside the house...brrrr.... it's cold out there tonight! We absolutely loved our times visiting Nova Scotia.
