Default Mesquite - not just for grilling

Hi Ladies...thought some of you might enjoy seeing someone else's art form. These items are made of mesquite wood. Saw them in shops in the little town of Edom, Texas this past weekend. Love the bird/fairy houses but they were way out of my price range. The sink is one solid block of mesquite - and he filled the cracks with some kind of epoxy then embedded turquoise chunks in it.
I marvel at other folks' talent and cleverness.

Beautiful work! I saw a tabletop made from reclaimed wood with glow in the dark epoxy in the voids. Super neat also.

I loved eating BBQ meats that were cooked with Mesquite wood in Arizona.

These art objects are so attractive, I'd have wanted to drop a bundle there as well!

I am getting ready to put this house on the market and get out of California and that basin would be sooooo cool in the Master Bath. Thank you for sharing
