try contacting someone above the person you spoke to.
I did. No help.

Part of my severance package was six months of unemployment for sure and now I am in an extension. The only way I get more after next January 1st is if I enroll in school and the it comes from TAA. I rather get a job since I prefer the security of the health insurance. I can continue going to school on-line at my own time. I guess they are making decisions for me here.

I'm asking as my best friend has a daughter that would like to continue her education but can't do it without some kind of income.

If you are at a school full time can you get health insurance through the school? If so check and compare costs. If you have a family you should be able to insure them too.

Found out today that I may not even be able to go to school because the cost would be $340.00 over the allowed amount. I have the school officials working towards getting me a scholarship or something. Unfortunately I can not do it on my own. If I do I loose all benefits.
