It's not a quilt but I thought you may enjoy my version of an Elmo doll and the blanket he will live in when I give this to my "adopted" grandson Eason.
He calls him Melmo, so we have all started doing it!
I sure hope he enjoys it as much as I did making it!
The top is a pre-quilted, very soft, denim-like fabric with a courdoroy pocket made from a very soft, old shirt. The back is a plaid, ultra-soft fleece. The whole thing is about double-bed-sized. I figure, once Melmo is no longer interesting, he can use the pocket for his cell phone and the remote!! :D

My daughter would love him! She carries hers around the house and brings him with her when we go out.
