Last January I discovered that my miniature orange plant had tons of blossoms. We looked forward to oranges since. When we left in July the plant was covered in green oranges. Some quite big, but all green. I left it under the care of a dear friend, since I had no room for any of my plants. While I was away there was a hail storm and my plants suffered, but not the oranges. This is what I came home with two weeks ago. Their smell is very strong and they are as sour as it can be. I just love looking at them.

O wow, My mom had a miniature orange tree while I was growing up! Thanks for reminding me. Good memories. She also had a gardinia. The beautiful smells that came out of the plant room were wonderful. I'd go in and close my eyes and sniff.

Those would make wonderful pomanders! Nothing like the scent of citrus in the house.

Cool!!!!

I have a full size orange tree. As well as Lemon and Lime. WE just had them all really severly cut back, they were way way too big. The lime tree was more than 10 taller than the 2nd story of the house.

Aw, neat! The blossoms smell so good! I used to have one, but had to give it away, as my cats would climb it, and think the tiny oranges were balls. They had a "ball", but that poor tree was looking bad.......
