Our older daughter came for a visit last week. It was so nice to have her here with us and her sister, who lives locally. She left for home this morning - I've been in the dumps all day since she left. This mom is "homesick"

Hugs to you! I feel your pain. We left my Dad's house after a week and I had tears as we were driving away because I was missing him already. Those bonds are a treasure and it's a good thing to be close to your family!

{{{{((( Hugs, Hugs, Hugs )))}}}} to you Marion Jean.

That's why I'm still living where it's cold in the winter, as I don't want to be far away from my children. I may have to find a way to have extended visit to the warm weather in the winter months.

Here are some hugs {{hugs}}.
My DD, only child, lives in another state. I miss her so much too. So, I can empathize with you.

Whenever I get misty eyes as cars are being packed for trips home I think of what my GD told me when she was 5 "If I don't go home, I can't come back."
