Default More dolls for VERY sick children

hope you enjoy seeing these dolls. They make dolls number 124 to 127. The girls are topsy turvy and show the nightgown when skirt is flipped over, as well as a sleepy face.

Boy dolls turn front to back to show different faces, and you will see that the boy on lower right is in styke with his boxer shorts showing just above the belt line of his blue jeans.
Those pants were a gift all the way from Japan, as was the plaid shirt on the other boy doll. One of your quilting ladies gifted the dolls with boy clothers and body colors. (Thank you Deborah)

Beautiful dolls will bring happiness to a very sick child. So good of you to make them and give away.

thanks for those replies. We have a local family whose home burned up. One of the children (3 with one being only 4 years old) might get a doll to comfort them during this difficult time. My small church is gathering up furniture and clothing, and a temporary home (empty) has been offered.

Thanks Mamakeeto. That's my goal for these little ones..happiness and comfort. Can't ask for more. I'm glad you liked them.

What a very generous and kind person you are. They are sure to put a smile on a sick child's face.

Do you find the children like the dolls? I was making some for a children's ward at the hospital I worked at. I made probably 5 a month and a few simple teddy bears. After about a year of donating my dolls and bears on my way to my office, one of the nurses pulled me to a back closet and there were many of my dolls nicely stacked with all the other donations they'd received. She told me that the kids just didn't want dolls or hand made items as much as a computer game or store bought Bratz or Barbie type dolls. It was really depressing because I really enjoyed making dolls.

Your dolls are very nice.
