Does anybody know how to get them out of a garden ( vegetables )? My DM doesn't want to use pesticides. I care for the garden when they are gone and today I got 2 bites on my neck, 1 on the eyebrow and 6 on my arm. Thankfully I had long pants on. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Put dryer sheets in your pocket, hat band, etc. I have trouble with the stinging flys & knats & found a couple elastic bracelets that have Citranella in them. I think I got them at BedBath&Beyond a couple years ago.

Bounce dryer sheets in your pocket and Listerine put in a spray bottle but only the original Listerine on that--golden color.

before we moved out here, i dealt with alot back home
there are a few plants that will help...
marigolds and mint seem to help.
but make sure there is no standing water around, or they will keep breeding

I read online somewhere that they are looking for carbon dioxide to guide them to people. One suggestion is to put out dry ice at the edge of the area you will be working on and they will be drawn to that. If you do a google search you will see lots of other natural ideas.

I use Avon's skin so soft , the original. Just apply to exposed skin with cotton ball. They're blood thirsty here too.

I plant marigolds on the border of my veg. garden and dont have any little bugs or animals. Do still get the plant bugs. I read on line when I googled, use dish soap & water in a spray for the veg. plants.
